So...Mitch and I had a plan. A 3 year plan.
(I'm starting to love plans and lists and organization..if you can believe it)
And it was REALLY REALLY good plan.
And we both felt REALLY REALLY happy about our plan.
But sometimes life throws us curve balls.
(which it did)
And when life throws me curve balls, I don't appreciate it.
Especially now with my new love for planning.
So I cried.
And was grumpy.
And was sad.
So Mitch sat me down.
And in a half joking/half serious manner said...
"Jenni, didn't you know that most home runs are hit off curve balls?"
*I fall more in love with this guy every day.
I really am a great guy. I'm glad you brought it up instead of me having to ;) I'm feeling the same way about you surgar.
ReplyDeleteI sure love ya hunnay! I think our new last name should be curveball. Keep the chin up my precious.
That is awesome and a good point.
ReplyDeleteVery wise man you have there. I have been married 4 years and NOTHING has ever gone "as planned". So far everything has turned out alright :)
ReplyDeleteyeah, i guess it's good to have a plan, but don't EVER plan on the plan actually working. It never does, and its cause the man upstairs makes way better plans than we do. i LOVE mitch's advice. I think i'll write it on a sticky note...
ReplyDeleteps... glad you finally posted something new. I miss reading your posts. you're such a talented writer and very entertaining. i want to hang out with you more, k?
